Paper Flying Fish, Moveable Sculpture

This flying fish is made of hand cut paper & is a combination of letterpress printing & hand watercoloring. The fish's head, wings, & tail are attached with copper wire spirals on which they pivot. The jaw also moves & when opened the eye looks down in anticipation of a meal. With the wings closed the body of the fish (including the oars) measures 7 1/2 x 2 1/2.
