Each candle is hand poured on the auspicious moon cycle (these on the New Moon) in layers so the herbs are even distributed throughout & will burn approx. 12 hours. Soy burns cleanly without black soot build up. Candles are colored all the way through - not just the outside - but because of the handmade nature & the layering process, color may vary from black to charcoal gray & show variations throughout the candle. No artificial scents are added - just natural herbal goodness!
