Made from your t-shirts, this blanket is perfect for all your shirts - new & well loved! Perfect blanket for lounging & watching the game or staying warm during the winter. Great gift for college students!! Backed & bound with your choice of fleece, this blanket is extremely soft & cuddly! Please note: Sweaters, sweatshirts, button downs, polos, jerseys, tank tops, sweatpants/pajama pants, CAN be used too! The possibilities are pretty much endless! Each t-shirt is cut & squared using a 14 x 14 template & with seam allowance, finished blocks will be 13 x 13. Each shirt is backed with a midweight interfacing (before being bound), for added stability. You pick the theme & colors of your choosing & send me your shirts & I'll create a one of a kind blanket for you!! :) The price listed is for a 20- or 24- or 25- block blanket with fleece backing, black border & black binding. All fleece will be washed with hypoallergenic laundry detergent before sewing to prevent later shrinkage of the material. For a perfect lounge-around-the-house blanket measuring approximately 59 x 72 (4 blocks by 5 blocks) you will need 20 t-shirts. Both the front & back of a single t-shirt can be used, so a minimum of 10 shirts is required. 4 x 6 blocks (24 t-shirts (fronts & backs)) will have a finished size of approximately 59 x 85 5 x 5 blocks (25 t-shirts (fronts & backs)) will have a finished size of approximately 72 x 72 5 x 6 blocks (30 t-shirts (fronts & backs)) will have a finished size of approximately 72 x 85 Blanket is not quilted, it is hand tied with a matching embroidery floss! A standard black border & binding around the outside of the finished blanket is included. You will be responsible for paying for initial shipping of the shirts & my shipping address will be provided to you at the time of purchase. You will NOT be charged for return shipping (domestic US only - international shipping costs will be assessed) as I will cover the cost due to your payment of initial shipping :) I do ask that you provide me with the tracking number once you have shipped them.
