About Me I have been making handcrafted names as my profession for over 20 years, & have thousands of happy customers all over the world. :) Below is a list of important things to know before you buy from anyone...to be sure you are comparing apples to apples & not apples to oranges. I feel very strongly that this is necessary, especially since there are so many sellers out there not disclosing this information. 1. I only use Colour Craft Permanently Colored Copper Wire to make my name ornaments. Colour Craft offers the very best quality colored silver & gold wire on the market. It not only is enamel coated to resist tarnishing, chipping or peeling; but their wire is the shiniest & looks the best by far. 2. I only use 16 gauge round wire to make my names ornaments. Most artists use a much thinner wire such as a 20 or 22 gauge because it is less expensive & easier to bend into shape. But easier to bend means easier to break. 16 gauge is not only more difficult to work with, but it is much, much more durable for the consumer.
