Sleepytime Sailboats Knit Baby Blanket Pattern Nautical Theme - PDF Pattern

This nautical themed blanket features sailboats in the middle with sections of Stockinette, Garter Stitch Borders & a textured stitch that makes you think of a day at the beach! The pattern is written for stroller size, but could be made larger for crib size by casting on in increments of 20 stitches. All stitches are knit & purl. The Sailboat chart is also written out in easy row by row directions for those who do not like a chart. The stitches you need to know are: Knit Purl Size US8 needles, & 4 colors of worsted weight yarn. I used about 160 yards each of white, green & blue, & about 80 yards of gray. The final blanket will be about 26 x 28. I made this baby blanket for a friend who was decorating a baby nursery in shades of blue & green with a nautical look.
