Minogame Menuki - Turtle Charm

The minogame (?), which is a turtle so old it has a train of seaweed growing on its back, is a symbol of longevity & felicity. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_depictions_of_turtles#Japan). A menuki is the small charm placed under the wrappings on the handle of a samurai sword. These menuki were sculpted by Kuromyou (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kuromyou/) in 2011. The ones for sale are cast in dark grey urethane resin & optionally powder coated. They are approximately 2 inches long by 1 inch wide & 1/8 inch thick. They are curved slightly on the bottom to fit a tsuka (sword handle) nicely. I'm sure you can come up with other uses for them! These are sold as a pair. Minogame Menuki - Turtle Charm
