Hand Forged Copper Bowl/Tabletop Sculpture

This copper bowl has a unique shape, & doubles as a tabletop sculpture. It works great to accessorize a bookshelf, console table, fireplace mantel, etc. I start by sawing an organic oval shape out of a copper sheet, & then forge the metal into its final shape via multiple rounds of hammering. I then smooth out the edges, & polish the bowl with wax for a soft shine. Copper ages beautifully. Should you want to restore the original shine, you can wipe the patina off easily with a silver or copper cleaner, or with a simple paste of vinegar & salt. Not intended for food. The bowl / sculpture is approx. 10 long, 6 wide, & 3 high. This item is made to order. Each item is unique, & may differ slightly from the one pictured.
