If you are gathering the valance, you will need 1.5 to 2 times the width of the window for fullness. If you are gathering the valance: A 42 inch wide valance for a window 24-28 inches wide. A 60 inch wide valance for a window 29-40 inches wide. An 84 inch wide valance for a window 40-56 inches wide. White cotton drapery lining can be added as an option. Lining adds fullness, protects from sun damage & looks nice from outside.
