This is a special rose bud dish that I created by hand out of copper metal. The main section of the rose bud lifts out of a dish that you could place jewelry items in, such as rings, earrings, or other small trinkets. It is made out of sheet copper, which I cut & molded by hand & then soldered together. I wove together very thin sheet copper to create the protective mat that the holder sits on. I did special work to create the patina on the piece & then sealed it with clear coat so it will stay looking like it does now for years to come.
