These creations are called Folded Book Art Sculptures. Basically you fold the pages of a book in such a way so that the shape of letters or symbols are visible at the edge of the book. Names of friends & family are common; as are words of inspiration. The book used for your order will be similar in size but the cover may be a different color. I choose books that are in good condition, have neutral or mainstream content, & are hard cover. Mostly, I choose books based on how many pages are needed for your project. It takes a long time to create a folded-book sculpture & each project has its challenges. But it is really fun to see the words materialize one page at a time.
