The candle holder undergoes a careful process which includes: 1.Careful selection of timber from small logs. (This timber has been stored for over 20 years) 2.Cutting/slicing the small log with a bandsaw to reveal exciting grain & colour. 3.Carefully rough sanding by hand. 4.Making the ornament & sand up to 400 grit to highlight the beautiful timber grain. 5.Finishing with several coats of Danish oil (with hand sanding between coats) to protect the timber & provide a natural look to the candle holder. 6.Final Assembly This wooden candle holder - a special gift for her The candle holder is approximately 14 cm (5 1/2) long, 6 cm high (2 1/3) & 4 cm (1 9/16) deep.
