Gold Neutral mask in papier mach This mask is entirely hand-made in papier mach using the traditional methods of Venetian master mask makers: The mask is first sculpted in clay from which a plaster cast is made. Papier mach is then carefully laid in the mould & left to dry. When the mask is removed from the mould, the surface is smoothed with plaster & then sanded. It is then covered with imitation gold leaf. Our masks are light but strong & are suitable for use in performances & as decorative items.
