I love, love pillows & I love making them. All pillows in my shop are sewn with careful thought. I always think of my own way of using pillows & so I extend that thought to every person who would decorate a home. I want mine to be simple & organic, yet functional. I like it sturdy to last awhile & withstand the everyday wear & tear. All my pillows are either, zippered or with buttons because I do not like gaping inserts. I like mine shut & maintaining form. BUTTONS & ZIPPER COLOR MAY VARY. It may not always be the one that's pictured, but it will always be either coconut buttons, natural wood buttons or in white plastic buttons that fit the fabric used. My pillows could be 1 - .5 off the pillow insert measurement to ensure a perfect fit. All materials I used are washed to prevent shrinkage. An exception is rubber backing upholstery fabrics & burlaps. This particular 12x18 lumbar pumpkin pillow is made with soft fabric on the front side. It has three pumpkin applique. Two in felt, one creamy white & the other is white. The darker gray applique is an upholstery fabric with rubber film backing. All leaves are of felt, including the pumpkin stumps. Stitchings are all done by both machines & by hand. The backside is a light weight natural colored muslin. It features buttons for an easy access. Sample photos are in 12x18.
