Hello & thank you for your interest in this lamp. The lamp you see here was handcrafted in Leipzig. The professional transformation of old electrical components into these beautiful lamps is a very intricate process. Great care was taken to ensure electrical safety (see below). The lamp was built in a professional workshop & is therefore of high quality. With your purchase, you will receive a proper invoice with VAT included. Yesterday This lamp was formerly an ExA type SLR camera. The camera was manufactured by Ihagee in Dresden from 1955 onwards. Today Today, this SLR camera is a designer lamp. It now features a standard E14 bulb socket & an integrated dimmer, allowing you to conveniently switch the lamp on & off & dim it. The dimmer is operated via the camera's original rewind knob & therefore doesn't detract from the lamp's appearance. Furthermore, the lamp comes with a black fabric cable securely attached to the housing with a strain relief. The Edison bulb is, of course, included, as is the beautiful vintage tripod from HACO. General information on electrical safety All lamps comply with general electrical safety requirements. As a general rule, all lamps are grounded at least via the socket (protection class II). For lamps with a metal housing, this is additionally connected to the grounding wire (protection class I).
