I especially cut it so half of it is from the outside of the tree & half of it is from the core of the tree so we get the beautiful red core & the light brown outside. This Koa Hardwood Cat is the best wood carving we can possibly make. It's the perfect balance of exceptional carving with the rarest best wood.
