This is BRAND NEW, antique style 2-wire, 16 gauge (known as 16/2). Each wire is a stranded copper insulated wire (much like standard wiring of today) then covered in a braided cotton fabric. The fabric is soft & colorful, similar to old cloth covered wiring. A simple rewiring can really breathe new life into an old fixture, if you're unsure of how to do it there are many step by step instructions & videos that can be found online, it's easier than you think! Or use it to make you own custom lamps, pendants, desktop lights... you get the idea! General pricing is $1.75 per foot, with a $3 discount for every 25 feet ordered, bulk requests welcomed.
