Quilted Baby Blanket

This quilt is made from Quilt Store quality 100% cotton fabric. I used an hourglass pattern which shows off the sweet prints from Little Sunshine Fabric line by Wilmington Prints. The top is pieced, the backing is a single piece of fabric & the two are layered with Warm & Natural batting in between. I quilted this quilt with a looping meander design using 100% Egyptian cotton thread in the palest yellow. The binding is machine stitched to the front of the quilt & hand stitched to the back. It is a double binding which adds strength & durability. The quilt is a generous 36 x 40.5 which makes it ideal as a crib & pram quilt. May be spread on the floor for some tummy time too. The quilt is machine washable on a cold/warm cycle & can be tumble dried on a warm setting. Quilted Baby Blanket
