Saraswati is the Goddess of learning, knowledge, & wisdom. The Sanskrit word sara means essence & swa means self. Saraswati means the essence of the self , by knowing which all else can be known. Goddess Saraswati is loved by persons interested in knowledge, especially students, teachers, scholars, musicians & scientists. This statue is a bas-relief, which I first made in clay, & then cast in durable white cement - plaster called hydrocal, & finished with gold & green patina. It can be hung on the wall.
