The Search

The Search is about a child who is missing, abducted or has run away. I can't imagine the feeling a parent has knowing that their child cannot be found especially as the sun goes down... This piece holds vintage flashlights & a lantern, a toy cowboy, a marble & a penny from the 1940s. These items could have been dropped by a panicked child running through the woods. The box is handmade & the painting is oil on birch panel. The Search
