Description

These are hand shaped ceramic cat figurines. I shaped them in my hand without mold. That is why they are different & unique. I used white clay for this one which is one of my favorite clays. It looks very beautiful with like these blazing colors. Each item is made one by one at hand with much love & care. The making of ceramic has many stages. First clay gets its form, the object is let to dry a few days, then burrs are retouched & it goes into the kiln. It is fired at 1000 degree Celcius. After first firing it is ready to glaze. After the glaze has dried it is fired again at 1150 degree Celcius. After 22 hours of firing & cooling, it is ready. Thank you for looking at my work.
