Optical fibers interwoven with oral arms closely resemble retractable tentacles & bring light to a point on the top of the umbrella, just as it happens in Pelagia Noctiluca The luminous fruit, also aiming at the lower surface of the curved base Marino seabed, creates glittering reflections thanks to the mixture of iron-micaceous colors with which the same is painted (gold, bronze, blue, rust) The brass parts having sailed were oxidized (not worn), have been cleaned up so much to eliminate organic & friable parts while preserving the typical discolorations of the sailed brass; On request & with added cost can also be polished & brought to the typical brilliance of the new brass.
