We recommend occasionally shaking your cowhide outside to rid of dust & dirt but high traffic areas may require vacuuming and/ or to be cleaned with simple soap & water (do not soak through)...This is all your cowhide should ever need. Do not be concerned with damaging your hide due to the fact properly tanned cowhides are practically indestructible, & their natural oils resist staining.
