The No.20 is a truly unique hanging lamp. Gorgeous by day, spectacular at night. The light then spreads through the wooden cage & the white (3D printed!) hood like a sunset... Industrial 3D printed lamp Remember the old industrial lamps with an iron cage to protect the glass? The print lamp No.20 is a modern version of these. Instead of iron we used MDF for the cage, & we created the hood of 3D printed biodegradable PLA. It takes our little 3D printer as much as 8 hours to produce one hood! This beautiful industrial cage lamp gets its characteristic blackened edges of a laser beam. The No.20 is designed so that we can assemble it without screws or glue. This way, we make sure to use up as minimal resources as possible. Hanging lamp spreading unique light Designer Olaf Weller devoted much attention to the way the light diffuses through the No.20. The result is beautiful: the different thicknesses of the white hood allow the light to shine through in different strengths. Like a sunset... With the black edges & 3D printed hood, the stainless steel bolts & black fabric cord, the No.20 creates a wonderful contrast between industrial & domestic.
