Sculpture a thought-limestone, reddened Year of Origin: 2010 A thought is part of a series of related forms that deal with the subjects of seed & egg, embryo & seedling, navel & folding, skull & capsules, dream & sleep, etc. A picture shows several of these pieces in a summary in the so-called seminarium. This sculpture is handmade from Jena's shell lime. The surface was dyed red by careful heating. The polished surface invites to intense touch-also a flattering hand. The Hand-made base made of wool felt conveys optically to the support surface & gives the sculpture Hold. Increased placement on a freestanding base is Recommended. The holes on the underside/rear panel allow mounting on the Wall. Depending on which hole you choose, the tip will show up or down.
