Talistone Dachsund

Our engraved River Stones vary in size from approximately 1 to 2 inches. We use naturally tumbled, polished stones with colors ranging from whites, browns, tans, dark reddish & brown grays. The stones are sandblasted & the imagery is then painted black. Size, shape, color & will vary with each stone. With their origins in Germany, the standard-sized dachshund was bred to scent, chase, & flush out badgers & other burrowing animals, while the miniature dachshund was designed to hunt smaller prey like rabbits. in the United States, they have also been useful in tracking wounded deer & prairie dogs.
