Meditating Garden Gnome With 12 Fingers, Polyurethane Resin-Cast

This 12-fingered meditating Garden gnome is made of polyurethane resin from a mold of an original wood carving I did in 2016. I've been carving steadily & my skills have improved since then, & as a result, this gnome is much better than the original. I completely re-carved this resin casting after it came out of the mold, making major improvements to the hands & face. I was about half-way through carving his right hand when I finally got around to counting his fingers-he has six! I looked over at his left hand & said to myself, Well, at least you got that one right! He has six fingers on his left hand too! I mixed iridescent paint additive to my acrylic paints to give him a glowing appearance. Since he's meditating, I figure he's probably enlightened. The bird sticking out of his beard is, of course, my 30-year-old Goffin's cockatoo, Peaches; she doesn't mind meditating, as long as it involves almonds! It makes me happy whenever I look at this gnome & I think to myself, All is as it should be. It must his magical powers working on me; maybe they will work on you too!
