It has three layers of old recycled sarees stitched together with thousands of small & delicate fine Kantha stitches. Small piece of cotton sarees (square pieces ) are stitched together using sew-machine then one plane saree fabric is placed on either side of quilt , Patch work quilt are normally used as bedspread , & it have two layers only. Each Sari fabric has been washed before making the quilts & has not been used in its Kantha Throw form.
