Trail Of Birds

Trail of birds is a handmade sculpture, available on a very limited numbering basis. It has been created with special care, using traditional means such as files, wire brushes, cutters & silver melds. This line has been inspired by the art of Ikebana & has been designed in collaboration with Vasso Morfiadaki. Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement. Flowers are placed in vases, according to a formalized ritual, mirroring the principles of the universe & aiming to advance the flowers' healing properties & the rejuvenation of the human spirit. Artifacts of branches, leaves, grains & seeds, fruit & flowers are bound together in abstraction & simplicity, offering a depiction of the relationships between man, earth, & sky. There on can find a celebration of the cycle of life & death, & a solemn promise of rebirth. The nature of handcrafting ensures that every piece created is unique.
