Made in an ethical, fair trade environment & rooted in local tradition, this orange moroccan sabai grass basket was handwoven by group of women in small communities across Orissa, India. Each textural piece has been crafted by hand & has taken weeks to perfect. Our Sabai collection has taken years to conceptualize & implement. Finding grass suited for homes & more importantly an Indian community of women weaving baskets in an ethical manner was particularly hard to find. These baskets are multi functional, use them to put your veggies, hang them as a piece of art, use as storage for towels or just decorate them in your shelves.
