The Mouth of Truth Green Man is based on an old legend from Italy. If you were place your hand or finger on his tongue & start to tell a lie...you better move your hand quickly or he will bite down on it! Only telling the truth will save you. NEWThe backing depth is now either 1/2 inch, flat backed, not shown, or 1.5 hollow back, free standing as shown, depending on your choice. I've been working on this sculpture for a long time, getting it just right, from his Oak leaves to the acorns...but I love how he turned out! He has a hollowed out back to make light weight & a wire so he can be hung upon a wall or sit on a table or shelf. Each sculpture is individually cast & finished so is unique in color & feel. Of course this Green Man makes a great gift...or maybe keep him for your self? Good for interior & exterior made from polymer modified cast stone.
