Hand Embroidered & Stenciled Bedspread Cone Flower

THE CONEFLOWER BEDSPREAD The design is hand stenciled & worked in any color (first photo shows the cone flowers worked in pink & the third photo shows the cone flower in red to match a William Morris wallpaper). The design is stenciled in oils & outlined in hand embroidery using the stem stitch, coral stitch & French knots. Leaves for both colors shown are stenciled in green, & the flower stems are brown. The design has a width of 18 inches & a length of 24 inches & is made to order. Costs to construct a complete bedspread are provided below. Prices include heavyweight Belgium Linen (upholstery grade linen suitable for sofas) in Stonehenge, Craftsman Natural, Sage, Camel, Blue, Plum, Deep Red or Ivory, or Pasadena Natural (a med to heavyweight linen with a soft hand), labor to construct bedspread, embroidery/stenciling of selected design & lining. For budgets friendly options bedspreads can be constructed with medium weight Ivory or Rust Irish Linen in a washed finish (soften through washing reveal natural linen textures) can be completed at a decrease in costs & a saving of $100. The traditional pillow tuck can be foregone to reduce costs up to $70. in addition, if the finished bedspread is smaller than the finished widths as listed, the bedspread can be completed at a reduced cost. Paint By Threads specializes in creating bedspreads that are simple; showcasing clean straight lines & seams that are essential to accentuating an Arts & Crafts bed. A central motif provides interest & color. Bedspreads are coverlet or throw style & include between an 18-inch drop at the sides & end of bed. Additional material can be added to the top of the bedspread to allow for a pillow tuck (as shown in the photograph for the Craftsman Bedspread). All bedspreads are lined in premium muslin cotton. Duvet style bedspreads are also available & include a cotton backing with a button closure at the bottom for insertion of your favorite down comforter for those cool winter nights. Custom bedspreads can be created to coordinate with wallpaper or stencil designs.
