Motive: SNAKESHEAD Design: William Morris in 1876 Colour: THISTLE/RUSSET Made of 49% linen, 38% cotton, 13% nylon Front & back side have the same fabric. Designed by William Morris in 1876. This design was one of Morris' own favourites among his printed chintzes. The design takes its name from the nodding snakeshead fritillary blooms that complement the larger, more formal motifs. The dramatic flame like motif & alternating spiky clusters of foliage seem held in suspension by the delicate scrolling tendrils that form the background. Overlocked hems. The cushion cover (pillow case) has a zipper. It comes without pillow insert. The fabric is washable in 40 degrees. Cushion cover is a little bit smaller than mentioned size, so that the pillow will look mellow & nice. Exact size 44x44 cm. Handmade in Sweden & shipped from Sweden.
