These original small tiles were used repeatedly as patterned tiled borders, often around narrative scenes painted onto tiles. They were also used mixed with other tiles; examples can be found in the fireplace at Kelmscott Manor, Oxfordshire. The Swans fabric recreates the look of the very tonal, spontaneous hand-painted tiles RETURN POLICY: All sales are final. Please know that making & fulfilling each order by hand on my own takes a very large amount of time & resources.
