Thank you for visiting my shop. When you order an item from my shop, I then make it in my workshop in Australia. Each item is individual not mass produced. I take time & use quality materials to produce a high standard product. I hope you like what I make. This original item is distinctly different & interesting. It will become a topic of conversation. This stool is a rounded top bench. Shaped like an old chest that will look great in any room. Classic rustic styling that will fit with the decor of lounge rooms or bedrooms. Finished in walnut or black varnish & your choice of red, brown or black leather. It is a mature piece of everyday furniture. Your choice of chain or plain chrome carrying handles are fitted to each end. A natural leather-restraining strap goes over the top of the stool giving it elegant styling. The stool has a key locked top that opens to a practical storage box area. The internal box is 410mm (16 inches approx.) long, 235mm (9 inches approx.) wide & 120mm (5 inches approx.) deep. The top is covered with a layer of heavy canvas then upholstered with a layer of firm supportive foam. It is then covered in 100% genuine Australian kangaroo leather that is beautiful & durable. I also produce versions with hand painted fabric designed. These are all individuals with each piece of fabric artisticly by hand. If you want that real animal appearance & feel there is an option of natural kangaroo fur. These are upholstered in leather hides in natural state with the fur still attached. It could be described as a very medieval appearance. The stool is; 710mm (about 28 inches) long, 320mm (about 12 1/2 inches) wide & 350mm (about 14 inches) high. It weighs about 10KG (22 Pounds). It is a great size & does not take up excessive room. Each individual stool is normally built when the order is made, so stock is not limited to any number. DUTIES & TAxES: EUROPEAN UNION Buyers may be required to pay duties & VAT charges. Countries vary between 25% to 30% of the purchase price. The authorities will inform you of any charges & they will have to be paid before the item will be delivered to the buyer. UK Buyers may be required to pay VAT charges. 20% of the purchase price. The authorities will inform you of any charges & they will have to be paid before the item will be delivered to the buyer. SWITZERLAND Buyers in Switzerland pay taxes at the time of purchase. There should be nothing further to pay before delivery. NORWAY Tax & import duties will also have to be paid by the buyer to your country's authorities. About 25% of the purchase price. The authorities will inform you of any charges & they will have to be paid before the item will be delivered to the buyer. CANADA Buyers in Canada may be required to pay VAT charges. Normally 5% of the purchase price. The authorities will inform you of any charges & they will have to be paid before the item will be delivered to the buyer. USA Buyers in United States may have to pay Tariff Fees on goods. The cost of the tariff is included as part of the purchased price. These tariffs are then paid before the item is shipped.
