You may need to stop mid-cycle & adjust so the center gets dry ???? If your quilt is larger than your washing machine, it may need to be washed at a laundromat where larger drum washer & dryers are available. FAQ : I already cut my shirts, can you still use them? Yes, we can! If the shirts are extremely cut, it may compromise the graphic & we'll have to build them out to fit the template. There is an additional cost of $3/shirt for each shirt that we have to modify. What does deposit only mean? What is the final cost of my quilt? Here on Etsy, we require a deposit to get the order started. The final costs are all listed in the size description. It's hard to know exactly the number of shirts needed. The size decription is a guideline. If you have very large graphic shirts like NFL jerseys or concert tees, they will take up more room than those shirts with smaller graphics. The range in shirts needed assumes a mixture of small, medium & large graphics. What will the final size of my quilt be? We tell you the size of the quilt when we show you a picture of the layout. If there is a specific size that you want us to do, please put that in the comments section. Can borders be added to my quilt? Yes, they can! We have a variety of borders in different sizes & styles. There are some borders that cannot be added to queen & king sized quilts because they exceed the width of our quilting machines. Will borders add on to any costs? Yes, they will depending on the final size of the quilt & the border you like. Please discuss any concerns with us. What are the border options? We can do a single solid border, a double border, a pieced border or a combination of pieced & solid. What is a solid border? By default, if you choose a solid border it's a 3 border that frames the quilt. If you'd like it larger, like 4 or 6, we can do that too. What is a pieced border? A pieced border takes what is left over from your shirts & we cut 4 squares & place them around your quilt. Can my quilt be washed? Yes, it is machine washable & can be put in the dryer. With quilts, it's normal for crinkling of the fabric once it's washed. It will soften too. How long does it take to make a quilt? Normally, we are 6-8 weeks out. However, during busy seasons like graduation & Christmas, production times may take longer. Please contact me if you need your quilt sooner. We can be flexible with our production schedule.
