The Decortie Rove is a layered headboard sized for a UK king size bed. Two panels with rounded top corners overlap one another: a taller Travertine panel at the back rises to 75 cm and a lower Sandstone panel in front stands 60 cm high, each 106 cm wide. Offset sideways, they span 160 cm together, a little wider than the 150 cm mattress, so the outline steps down from one side of the bed to the other. It hangs on the wall rather than bolting to a bed frame, so it pairs with a divan or a base with no headboard fittings, and the bed can be pulled forward for cleaning while the headboard stays in place. The wall fixings are supplied in the package. The curved, stepped shape brings interest to the wall above the pillows with no buttoning, piping or fabric to gather dust. At 3.6 cm deep it sits close to the wall, and the melamine faced particleboard wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth.
