Molevion Tompion T-022 Synthetic Clock Oil is a specialist light horological lubricant designed for compatible pivots and bearing points within smaller and more delicate mechanical clock movements. T-022 is particularly suited to suitable smaller pivots and faster-moving going-train components where a light oil is preferred to a heavier clock lubricant. A useful choice for compatible carriage clocks, Vienna regulators and other small or precision clock movements requiring carefully controlled pivot lubrication. The 7ml pen applicator is designed for controlled servicing. It allows the user to place a very small amount of oil directly at the required lubrication point rather than dispensing excess oil from a conventional bottle. Clock movements require different lubricants at different points. T-022 is positioned specifically as a light pivot oil rather than a universal lubricant for every component within a clock movement. For best results, old and contaminated lubricant should be removed during proper movement servicing before fresh oil is applied. How to Use Service and clean the clock movement according to normal horological practice. Remove old, dried or contaminated lubricant from the lubrication point before applying fresh oil. Position the pen applicator carefully at the required pivot or oil sink. Apply only a very small quantity of T-022. Avoid flooding the pivot, plate or surrounding components.
