The desktop is made from solid pine wood that is sourced from environmentally sustainable forests and kiln-dried to the moisture content of the average household. The top is sanded to a smooth touch finish, but we make sure to preserve each piece's rustic characteristics, including splits, knots, and unique grain patterns. Once sanded, a wax finish is then applied to offer protection to the wood and help intensify its character of the wood.
