Caff Florian born in Venice in 1720. It is the oldest Caf in the world situated under the arches of the Procuratie Nuove in Saint Mark's Square. This print is part of a series made by me during lockdown, I was lucky enough to visit Venice half way through 2020 in the break between lockdowns, so had the opportunity to get some amazing photos of a near deserted city. Whilst the locals were enjoying having the island almost to themselves, there was still an air of worry, with lasting economic damage to a community solely reliant on tourism.
