Hand built porcelain vessel, sculpted in relief. Brushed, air brushed, incised, slip decoration. Front piece is cut lower & design is continued on the inside of the back. High fire English porcelain, with slip under glazes & a clear glaze on top. Reverse side black with white incised line, same image. 9h x 8w x 4d. These pieces are animal portraits, designed to stand alone as home decoration or they can be used as a decorative vase. They hold water, & are best used with just a couple cut flowers so as to not hide the design, but accentuate the uniqueness. With flowers I use a little posting putty on the inside to stick them exactly where they look best! Putty also works great to secure these on to a surface, as I have at outdoor art fairs. Four small pieces both levels the piece & secures them to smooth surfaces without harming furnishings. They are narrow & this prevents wind, bumps, or pets from disturbing them.
