Ahhh... the Winter Solstice! When many beliefs celebrate the birth or rebirth of the Sun/Son! As a pagan, I celebrate the Yule in many ways identical to my Christian friends - with a tree & evergreens to remind me of the persistence of life through the long, dark winter nights, candles to add warmth & light, & surrounded by friends & family, good food, & hot beverages! I created these candles for all beliefs & ideologies - after all, we're not that different! Scented & sprinkled all the way through with wildcrafted windfall pine, spruce, fir, redwood, cedar, juniper, & other evergreen needles & bark along with the sacred incense resins frankincense & myrrh. Candles are colored all the way through - not just the outside - but because of the handmade nature & the layering process, color may vary from light bluish green to dark pine green & show variations throughout the candle. No artificial scents are added - just natural herbal goodness! Listing is for two (2) spruce green spell votive candles - each approx. 1 3/4 x 1 3/4. + Always burn your candle supervised on a heat proof plate or votive glass. + Keep away from children or pets. My dogs find these candles very tasty! + Trim wicks to 1/8th inch each time before burning. + Extinguish completely when leaving the room. + Keep out of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. For added power or scent, drip a few drops of one of my Magickal Oil into the wax pool around candle flame as it burns. For this candle's purpose, I recommend Yule or Green Man oil.
