A robust natural cotton rope wall hanging, designed to be a statement piece yet subtle. The solid feel of the rope is softened by the way it loops round on itself to create a chain-like effect. Accented with just a touch of colour at the top & the bottom, the main focus remains on the texture of the design. The loose ends are unravelled to create a gentle finish. Made by hand in the UK & to order using thick soft natural coloured cotton rope, & finished with a recycled cotton wrap knot on each end. Shown here in Laurel, we have 7 other colours available (Golden Natural has a thin gold thread running through the cord, which is a little difficult to see in the photo). Proudly made using traditional techniques to create the finished piece (no glue or stitches). As we use a natural rope, it may contain tiny flecks & slightly vary in tone. We do our best to photograph in natural daylight to display the colours as accurately as possible, however actual colours may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. in addition there may be a slight colour variation between different batches of rope. Finished dimensions: approx 83cm x 12cm (33 x 5). Weight: approx 700g / 1 lbs. The rope & cord are compliant with OEKO-TEX Standard 100, which guarantees that it has been tested & certified to not contain harmful substances, making it suitable for children & people with allergies. Each piece is completely unique & may be ever so slightly different from the one photographed. Please note the wavy texture of the unravelled ends will naturally drop slightly overtime. These are designed as decoration & are for indoor use only. When can I expect to receive my order? I can usually get your order dispatched within 3 weeks. You have 24 hours after placing your order to cancel it if you change your mind before I start working on it. Everything is done by hand, by me, Becky, & it takes a little time for me to make it & get it ready to be packaged up before heading out to you.
