Teide 7. Seven handwoven cotton panels, 110in (280cm) wide, made to order in our studio in Poland. One of the largest pieces we weave. Each panel is woven separately & carries its own rhythm. Basketweave, open lattice, long fringe, tight geometric bands. They hang from a single bamboo rod with deliberate gaps between them, so the wall itself becomes part of the composition. Light moves through those gaps & shifts through the day. At 110 inches wide this is not an accent piece. It carries a wall above a long sofa, a dining sideboard, a bed, or a stairwell. The natural cotton stays quiet & lets the texture do the work. Woven by hand on a loom, no machines. Every panel is tied & finished by hand, which is why no two Teide pieces come out identical.
