Gaps series: Heather & blue poppy - An abstract piece of framed woven art. Explores how gaps in the weaving add to the design, as the vertical warp threads show through between the coloured blocks. Intricately hand-crafted using crewel wool in delicious shades of heather & the beautiful colours of Himalayan blue poppies. Weaving brings me both calmness & joy, & it is such a privilege to create for other people's homes! I really hope my work lifts your heart & soothes your soul, as it does mine...
