Contemporary Handmade Ceramic Lamp Made in Sweden

Contemporary handmade ceramic design made in Sweden, Stockholm. Exploring traditional & none traditional hand crafting technics in ceramics, based on Scandinavian traditions. Hand crafting is a slow & intuitive sculptural process that contributes to unpredictable, three-dimensional organic surfaces & contours depending on the orientation of the lamp. A glossy white bulb sits in the center, like a pearl contrasting with ceramic material. The work is biomorphic, which mimics organically forming processes in nature. Each piece is one of a kind which makes it special & unique. Honest material expression of ceramic gives warm & tactile feeling of earth. Made with intention to be an art work during a day & warm glowing light in the evening to enrich every corner of interior space with its presence. The ceramic is loaded in kiln & fired up to 1000 - 1200 degrees Celsius. The firing is made one time instead of traditional two times firing process to minimize carbon dioxide emission. The lamp comes with long textile cable & switch. (E27 light bulb). All parts are safe & CE listed. Material: Ceramic, earthenware with grog.
