This listing is a pair of bowl shaped glass vases, hand engraved with sunflowers growing out from the base. They are fully functional as vases as well as purely decorative works of art. They would be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding or anniversary. The vases can be personalised with names & dates or up to 4 words free of charge, creating a unique & personal keepsake that will last a lifetime. Please note that these pictures are stock pictures & each vase is engraved to order so ever so slight differences will occur. Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve deep into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. All packaging i.e boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) & therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes. After something a little different?
