This item is hand casted with concrete using a silicone mold. Once hardened the piece is demolded, sanded, & sealed to protect against moisture. Variations in texture & overall appearance should be expected. Concrete is a naturally porous material & is not intended for use with food. Bubbles often form during the cast process & are a characteristic of concrete. Handmade on the Central Coast of California.
