The Cushion Cover - Made from traditional Shweshwe fabric from South Africa. Trademark Three Cats, printed by Da Gama Textiles. - Blue colours depending on light. Photographed in sunlight. - Shweshwe blue & pink back with a zip close. - 45cm x 45cm (18 x 18) Shweshwe - Shweshwe is a trademarked fabric. Shweshwe is produced by feeding cotton fabric through a series of copper rollers that have patterns etched into them. - The original shweshwe fabric has distinct characteristics in smell, touch & even taste. There is a starchy, almost wax like feel to the fabric (it is not soft like cotton - although will become so with washing). - There is a branded manufacturers stamp on the reverse of the fabric to show the origins of the shweshwe. - Due to being hand made, there might be some imperfections.
