Hand sewn cushion cover made from a piece of Heal's Trees. Designed by textile artist Cressida Bell, the granddaughter of Vanessa Bell & great niece of Virginia Woolf, exclusively for the Heal's 1810 collection. Heavily influenced by the 1930s & 1940s trends, Bell has looked to such period illustrators as Eric Ravilious & Edward Bawden for inspiration behind this piece. ( quoted from the Heals website ) There is a choice of fabrics available for the reverse & it has been piped in a matching red cotton. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength & there is a concealed zip on the reverse beneath teh piping for ease of opening. Measures approximately 16 inches / 40 cms. square. Dry clean only PLEASE NOTE This listing is for the cover only. I do not provide the inserts.
