His works, eclectic & ethereal, referencing both Japanese prints & Persian miniatures, had a pronounced influence of Orientalism about them. The resulting exquisite use of colour, detail, texture are unparalleled in creating the magical scenes that feel like real glimpses into the enchanting universe of fairy kingdoms & all things wonderful & magic Reproduced from an antique book illustration.
